I recommend "The Digital Photography Book", one and two volumes of Scott Kelby and "Understanding Exposure" Revised Edition by Bryan Peterson.

I do not agree that the book is to learn the "hard to do, only when I read your mind do not learn to the best of what you do. Normally I am not a great reader, that my attention span is not only read the text, I am A hearing students. But I like posted the books I mentioned (see link below) because it was easy to read and understand, and packed with photographs and illustrations. And he admits that his evidence is based only in the class, and I do not need a degree to be a photographer himself and needed to become an engineer, an electronics technician and electrical engineering. Despite some more about my life, no longer necessarily know (or less) to have them or not. It depends on what you plan to do with my career. Do not let that someone tell you that learning is made difficult pounds, but in reality it is not. I am gayNED deeper understanding of photography as well as experience in reading the books that I mentioned and reference of a few photoblogs very good (see also below) linked. As you can all over the image of a book to learn that a rookie can be a lot of basic skills to obtain, before choosing a camera (that's what you should do anyway). Learn more about exposure and composition pounds (Bryan Peterson's) and learn more about working as a camera, while a hands on or prior to purchase and learn Photoshop (if you do not like) Scott Kelby books. There is nothing wrong with the publication, which is why they were written. If you think you need an education, take some courses, if necessary. It is not necessary. Good luck in your endeavors.
