www.dona.org

This is the first place to start research on a career as a doula too. There are useful links, etc. to local training opportunities, certification,

Good luck. Doulas do a wonderful job.

Certainly, you should see the Doulas of North America (DONA) website: Check http://www.dona.org, childbirth and postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA) Website: http:// http:www. cappa.net and www. doula.com research your options. Please contact the various associations and training of trainers and questions about the local climate of doulas in your area. Also look and see if your state or region has a group of doulas, they can be very useful if the first steps.
